In August 2023, Glasgow hosted the single biggest cycling event in history – the UCI World Cycling Championships. The event brought together 13 existing cycling championships into one mega event – including a road race.
With events of this scale comes city-wide disruption. To support and educate commuters, residents, visitors, and anyone else who would be affected by road closures, Glasgow Life commissioned Union Direct to create a paid media campaign that ran across Glasgow and online. The campaign, created under the Get Ready Glasgow brand, a trusted one-stop source of up to date information on events, developments, and improvement works across the city, included OOH, digital display banners, and digital posters.
